I also suggested this not knowing their relationship, but familiar with a
similar favor Def Leppard did for Mick Ronson while at the peak of their
popularity. Mick was in ill health with medical bills out the ying yang and
probably would have been more solvent if he ever paid attention to such
matters (by all accounts he didn't). So the Leppards cut "Only After Dark"
as a b-side (and pretty damned well, too) and filled his coffers a bit.

BTW, Tuesday is the anniversary of Ronson's death. Pull out one of his
masterworks - his own or his production touches - and raise a pint to the
late great one. "Moonage Daydream" is a good start, "Jack and Diane" if
you're strapped for choices. If you've ever heard "Sweet Dreamer", you know
that's the one I'll be playing a couple three times over my Guinness.
