Brendan is good friends with Jack White (hometown buds) - who allowed him
to open for him on a previous tour. I think what's happened here is
nothing more than a friendly gift to a friend who appreciates the other's
music - and if Benson gets some additional notoriety from it, I think
that's the whole idea. Besides, it's a B-side - so I don't see any
infringement upon the original, truth be told. If he and Falkner can pick
up some new fans and perhaps some additional cash, there's no reason for a
hue and cry.
