Why, Kevin? Wouldn't it be nice if the fact that they covered the song drew
some attention to the artist? Ever think that might have been their
motivation? Not to mention some cash in Brendan's pocket might not be so
bad.
Car commercials? Yeah, THAT will make him famous. (see cash is good comment
above, though). At least the record will identify him by name.
Hell, I hope the White Stripes take this message, put it to music and sell a
freakin' million copies. I can use the cash _and_ the notoriety.
