I have lost the original posting, but here's a big "thank you" to whomever
raved about "the 45s."  The Cd is flat-out spectacular.  The hooks are
original and the songs actually go somewhere with 'em.  I haven't heard a CD
this consistent since The Yum Yums' "Blame It On The Boogie" last year.  My
problem now is that I can't track down the pre-45s disc, Ruth's "Harrison".
If this is anywhere near the quality of the 45s disc, I *must* have it.  I
would be open to a swap for something hard-to-get from *my* collection.

    I'd love a return of power pop to the airwaves so I could relive the
thrill of discovering great new music on the radio.  Unless I have my own
music in, I never get the urge to crank the car stereo anymore.
