Mr. MacDougall doesn't seem to be much of a fan of country music, and his
offensive opening sentence and the silly Hank Williams/ConwayTwitty and
Gram Parsons (who despite his many fine musical contributions wasn't a
country performer)/Garth Brooks comparisons makes his depth of knowledge
suspect as well. He makes some good points in the piece, but he mostly lost
me from jump.
