I would advise you to steer clear of her debut EP, WALTZIE- not because
it's terrible, but it was a little disappointing. Her first LP WHILE YOU
WEREN'T LOOKING rocks a little more in spots than the new one, but meanders
a bit by comparison on the slower stuff. I've never really been impressed
one way or another with Chris Stamey's production work, but it's one of the
strengths of I'M STAYING OUT.

Heh heh. PNEUMONIA was all the more disappointing for the status it
acquired from a certain heavyweight's touting how great it was years before
it finally hit the market. Whether that can be attributed to Ethan Johns
production work or not, I don't suppose we're ever gonna a FAITHLESS STREET
reissue-type chance to find out.
