The songs that pop into my head first thing in the morning are usually triggered
by what the weather looks like. If there's sunlight coming thru the blinds, it's
usually some Audities tune. Partly cloudy usually triggers the Cowsills' "Grey
Sunny Day."
I got the news a few weeks ago that my childhood best buddy died.He was
responsible for getting me into music at a VERY early age. So lately, some
obvious parts of songs have been floating around the crainium, such as "I always
thought that I'd see you again." from JT's "Fire and Rain."
But the oddest one that pops up is the line "and when one of us is gone, and one
of us is left to carry on," from Helen Reddy's "You and Me Against The World." I
can just hear him now..."WHAT?! A Helen Reddy song! Couldn't you come up with
anything cooler?" Serves ya right buddy, for going country on me a while
back...heh heh....
Hey Mark, thanks again to you and your dad for "Past Tense." It has helped a
lot...
