I can remember two great dream/wake-up songs from my many years of sleeping: once I awoke to an aural dream of an instrumental Fripp and Eno version of Them's garage classic "Gloria". It was really nice! Someone who can coax those Frippertronics sounds should take a crack at it someday. Another time I awoke to a dream of David Thomas leading Pere Ubu while wearing a gold lame', early Elvis-style suit. The song was smokin' and as rockabilly as Pere Ubu's ever gotten, but I couldn't remember it long enough to "steal" it for my own means. There goes my muse!
