Can't I play a copy-protected CD in my computer, "record" the audio with a
wav recorder (e.g., Cool Edit) and then burn those wav files?
I got the Bangles Brit import of Doll Revolution, and it is copy-protected,
which pisses me off. I have half a mind to do this and give copies away.
Which I generally ethically refuse to do with any commercially available
recording. But if I want to put a song on a mix CD, Goddammit, that is my
right when I buy your frigging album.
