(subject line is the title of a song - use the word 'song' VERY loosely
here - that my buddy and I wrote in the early 80's after seeing them in a
festival show.)

>Any reports on the Leps tour?

Some friends invited us to a December festival that had Def Leppard as the
headliners. I was actually looking forward to seeing them, but ended up
walking out after 5 or 6 songs. What a snoozefest for me. I will say that
it seemed that EVERYBODY except my wife and myself were TOTALLY into them,
so there you go. Take my word or the other 9,000 people that attended.
Talented? Yes. Entertaining? I'd say no.

Surprise enjoying entertainer at the festival was Leanne Rhymes <-- unsure
of the spelling, apologies to Leanne. Maybe expectations came into play.
Leppard expectations, high. Rhimes (this looks better), low. Didn't expect
to see such a short mini skirt on her, and with her up on stage and us down
below, you got more than you paid for (if you happened to PAY for the
show.) Of course I hadn't noticed until my wife brought it my attention. OF
COURSE!

-Jeff Brenneman

NP: Richard X. Heyman - Cornerstone (I'm really enjoying this. Not
extremely different, but great pop songs!)
