When they say "for better or for worse," my wife claims that the music that
I bring to the relationship is part of the "better."
She didn't complain when I turned off Cher last night, nor did she have a
problem with watching instead a PBS special on the song "Strange Fruit."
Most of all, she is a willing participant in our house concerts - all bands
need her seal of approval before being booked. Allowing bands in the dining
room - now that's love.
