Lucky man. Last night, as my wife was subjecting me to the "Cher Farewell
Concert Special", I wondered how many people are lucky enough to share
musical tastes with their loved ones?
In my household, it's always a negotiation. For instance, in about a month
I "agreed" to attend a Cher live concert with my wife. In exchange, I'm
dragging her to the GBV/Cheap Trick double bill Friday night, some IPO
Chicago shows, and the Dictators in late May.
I was feeling pretty good about my negotiating skills until I witnessed the
Cher special last night. Now I'm starting to feel as if I've been
hoodwinked...
