I might be alone in thinking this way, but "The Sound of Music" is actually 
my favorite dB's record. It's definitely more ordinary than their more 
groundbreaking Stamey-era stuff, but I think it's an incredibly solid, 
listenable, and well-paced pop album. That album and "Like This" are truly 
crying out for reissues (BRUCE??), too, since both trade for large amounts
of 
money on eBay ("Like This" has been known to reach $100 on CD, "The Sound of

I consider Mavericks a quasi dB record, and like it, though not as much as
dBs stuff I own -- which is Like This! (great), Sound of Music (good), and
Amplifier (really good).  Speaking of which, I believe Amplifier is not a
proper release, but maybe a collection of songs from Stands For Decibels and
Repercussion?  Anyone in the know on this?
