Mind you, this is veering abruptly from Audities into Marriage 101, and it
clearly varies from couple to couple, but, personally, my wife enjoys going
to concerts enough that I feel a bit guilty going to one without
her...unless she really, really has an active dislike for the group.  Even
then, though, I feel guilty leaving her at home while I go out and have a
good time at the show.

As far as going alone...well, for all my love of music, I've found there's
nothing quite as disheartening as going to a show by yourself.  I've only
done it a handful of times, and, unless I was a man on a mission (i.e.
reviewing the concert), I was usually so distracted by the fact that I
couldn't chat with anyone about the experience that I was downright
depressed by the end of the evening, no matter how top-notch the show may
have been...
