That's a typical dichotomy in my experience.
Some people do like both, but more often there are Stamey people, and
there are Holsapple people. I'm a Holsapple guy. My favorite dB's
record by far is Sound of Music. I don't like the Stamey songs on
Mavericks. Some of his stuff on the earlier dB's records are ok. The
ONLY Stamey solo song I like (and I've heard two records' worth) is Cara
Lee.
I'm not saying he's bad, I just don't like his stuff.
