Greetings Jeff!
John Faye here; saw your post and wanted to let you know that my current
band IKE (which is really the same four folks from my post-Caulfields solo
project
The John Faye Power Trip- Cliff Hillis, Dave Anthony, Joann Schmidt & yours
truly)
just put out a new CD on March 11 called "Parallel Universe" - see Not Lame's
website
or our site (http://ikeonline.net); a couple of the tracks were produced by
Butch Walker.
I'm also in another band with Joann from IKE called The Jane Anchor
(http://thejaneanchor.com), which is an indie pop/rock band led by
songwriter/guitarist Kara Lafty. We're currently working on an EP with our
own Cliff Hillis
engineering the recording and co-producing. It's all a bit incestuous I
suppose,
but I'm starting to see our little circle of Philly-area musicians as more of
a collective nowadays
anyway. The Elephant 6 of power pop maybe - who knows? Anyway, check it
out when you get a chance!
