I'm coming late to this thread and haven't read everything, so if somebody
already mentioned Yes, my apologies for being redundant. As best I can
tell, there has never been a Yes record that didn't have at least one of
the original mambers, but there are no original members who haven't missed
at least one. You've had guys fading in and out, with even Anderson
missing a disc or two. So while there hasn't been a lineup completely
devoid of originals, it's been close....

Then, of course, there's Uriah Heep, which I'm pretty sure was the model
for the personnel issues faced by Spinal Tap....
