Recently, while reading through a recent issue of RECORD COLLECTOR magazine,
I was quite shocked to find out that the current lineup of NAPALM DEATH
contains no original members! (Why did I read about Napalm Death to begin
with? I'll read Record Collector back to front whenever I get my hands on
an issue, bar the want ads). NO ORIGINAL MEMBERS!!!

Needless to say, I was flabbergasted! Although they are laughed at today,
at least A FLOCK OF SEAGULLS still features singer/songwriter Mike Score in
their ranks. The Fixx still records and tours with the same four key
members. 20/20 still has their main two singer/songwriters. The Knack are
3/4 intact. Etc.

Now, what I want to know from anyone/everyone here is what bands with
revolving members do you think should pack it up and throw in the towel and
what bands are strong no matter what the line-up is!!! Generally, I'm
referring to bands that have been together for 10 years or more.

And is it just me, or is it a shame that someone as talented as former CARS
guitarst ELLIOT EASTON is now in Creedence Clearwater Revisited?

BTW, Status Quo's OC show a month ago was the greatest live show I've been
to (and i've seen the Jam, XTC, Squeeze, Split Enz, Vapors, etc). They are
certainly a band who know how to play!
