Is there a web-address where I might be able to listen to this song? I heard
it twice last week---once on KFOG-FM and once on the music service piped into
California Pizza Kitchen.
From those two listens, I know I will buy the CD when it's released. Lindsey
and Co. do their best Beach Boys' harmony homage, while Lindsey adds some of
his audio oddities (flourishes? nuances? histrionics? Tusk-etics?). The song
is one long hook. It reminds me of what F-Mac did with Brian Wilson's
"Farmer's Daughter" on their live album from the early '80s. Simply
stunning...and a welcome breath of fresh air to hear on the radio.
