Okay, it's a silly argument, but interesting
nonetheless.

This came up on the Todd Rundgren mailing list. The
article marks the 30th anniversary of the release of
Todd's "A Wizard, A True Star" in a few days.

Coming on the heels of the seminal
"Something/Anything", "A Wizard, A True Star" was the
most challenging, interesting, exciting and
frustrating album I'd ever listened to at the time.
I'd still take it with me to the proverbial desert
island, if nothing else for the soulful Motown Melody,
the brilliant "Sometimes I Don't Know What To Feel",
and the anthemic "Just One Victory".

As always, your mileage may vary...

"Rock's Backpages, the Online Library of Rock & Roll,
this week carries a feature arguing that A WIZARD, A
TRUE STAR is the greatest album ever made. Please
