First off, I'm convinced that lps will be like baseball cards from the 50s
and 60s-- suddenly worth tons because no one kept them, despite the fact
that for the most part they were not scarce commodities.

But as far as the wife is concerned, I recommend doing what I did.  When she
last pressed the point that I never listen to the records, we should store
them somewhere, I told her "That argument only ends one way-- I'll start
listening to them"  That weekend we had an "All-vinyl Saturday."  After the
second Yes solo album the topic was put to rest for good.
