did anyone catch Elvis Costello hosting David Letterman show last night?
this was something i thought i'd never see. actually, Elvis did better
than i would have thought, which shouldn't really suprise me as he is so
quick witted. But he did seem to be a bit nervous at times, and his British
humor seemed, well, out of place. nonetheless, it was entertaining - almost
surreal. i especially liked his opening monologue closer of him singing to
the tune of "Alison... my aim is true..." : "Letterman... I want your show."
unfortunately i fell asleep before he played with the Imposters at the end.
but i did tape it - let's hope it works, unlike the time i tried to tape the
Wondermints last month and got golf instead!
