This list is pretty amazing. I have found more music I made that I did not
have through the good folks on this list, than anywhere else. For me, it
seems to be a worldwide delete bin, which is where most of my stuff ended
up. I wish I would have known about The BaypopAutumn Tribute. I would have
loved to have been there. I have a lot of Abe Kesh, ( Vaco), Tom Donohue,
Bobby Mitchell stories, not to mention Jan, ( the fabulous girl drummer from
the Vejtables...or was it The Mojo Men), The Opposite Six, all the early
Fillmore and Avalon Ballroom bands. As far as the Beau Brummels go, Laugh
Laugh and the other big hit, (the name escapes me right now), were recorded
at Coast Recorders, with a young engineer named John Haeney, with Sylvester
Stewart, (Sly Stone), producing. I played tambourine on a couple of tracks.

Not only am I flattered beyond belief that the artists you mentioned are
going to perform one of my tunes, I can't believe How Can I Tell Her is the
song you've chosen to do. It was always a favourite of mine.

You've got my email address, feel free to stay in touch. I'd love to
reminece for your friend's book, and may be able to steer him to a couple of
other people.
The Cylus Proulx, (that's the correct spelling), name was thought up by
myself in a clothing store in Modesto California when I was in a band just
before Us, called the Ratz. The Ratz also had Gary Grubb, (Duncan), and Greg
Elmore from The Brogues, who went on to form The Quicksilver Messenger
Service. Reason for the Cylus Proulx name? Bob Segarini was a pretty lame
British Invasion moniker...oh well.
