I've thought about picking up the Golden State Nuggets comps--- is there
enough good stuff on "The Autumn Sound" to make it worth a purchase? Reviews
from anyone here?
A couple of weeks ago, I bought "A Peculiar Hole In The Sky", a Big Beat
compilation of Australian psych-pop---and it's a great companion to the
Nuggets' box sets. I'm especially loving the two tracks from the 1863
Establishment, "Gained For A Fall" and "Picture of a Girl"--- but there are
probably a dozen or more out of the 23 tracks that really do it for me. I
believe that "Peculiar Hole..." was released in Oct '02, and I'm a bit
surprised there wasn't more talk of it here.
