I was just watching the DVD of 24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE -- a film that deserved
a much wider release than it got last year and is required viewing for any
fan of the '76-'92 UK indie scene -- and one of the commentary tracks is by
Steve Coogan, who played Tony Wilson (brilliantly), who mentions a couple
of times that his older brother is Martin Coogan, the singer-songwriter
from the Mock Turtles, who taught him all he knows about the Manchester scene.

The other commentary track is priceless: Tony Wilson himself talking about
everything the movie got wrong.
