Hey Mike,
Yeah, wouldn't that be great?? Unfortunately the Scandinavian Girls have
broken up, although I've spoken to their lead singer/songwriter Ola Framby
about a reunion show at IPO. Right now Ola is concentrating on his latest
band, The Men, who have a very nifty Northern Soul-ish sound.
The Girls who are playing IPO Chicago are a very cool Chicago band who lean
more towards the harder side of pop. One of their members is Tom Szidont,
who's the main man behind The Joy Poppers.
