Hello,
I came here through some friends who love the list.
My leanings are more alt-country (Uncle Tupelo, Steve
Earle, Bruce Springsteen, My Morning Jacket are some
of my favourites), but I also love several "pop" bands
including the obvious (Big Star, Cheap Trick) and some
of the not so obvious (Badfinger - - - just kidding).
Anyway, the reissue of the 28th Day record prompted me
to post because it seems like something difficult to
find out about and I figured many on this list would
be interested. And now that I'm here, perhaps I could
glean . . .
Saw the Figgs last night at a tiny club here in
Chicago-fantastic is all I'll say!
