The most wretched use of non-fab-4 backing vocalists was the choir Phil
Spector used on The Long and Winding Road. Thank God I've got the Glyn Johns
version. Also, the Mike Sammes Singers did the off-the-wall backing vox on I
Am the Walrus and those parts are very cool ("stick it up your jumper -
everybody's got one etc...). Other songs with non-Beatles singing are Hey
Jude and All You Need Is Love.
