For Zombies fans, Varese Sarabande is prepping up a release of
the Zombies' debut album. And let's face it, if you remember
The Zombies, you were always impressed with their songs. I know
that I I was. This disc features the original Mono release of
the songs because it contains unique track mixes not available
on any stereo versions of the songs. This set has never been
released in the US on CD before. And it includes six additional
'bonus' tracks that presents two US single versions, "Leave Me
Be" and "I Must Move". Even today, I could listen to "The Time
of the Season" over and over. And have been. I have been
listening to the amazing Steve Hoffman remaster of The Zombies
Greatest Hits. It rocks. While I had promised a Zombies SACD
review, it's delayed until tomorrow. As it stands, it may be
the only thing I post due to such low news turnout. I need to
work on stuff anyway. This release is scheduled for March 25.
