Nah, the RecFac was ok until the original owner bailed. Then it was run
by an accountant who used to be in the trucking business....started
trucking up his nose. He fired my pal who was pres. That was about the
end of my future there. Got in an argument with the buyer about Sammy
Hagar once! They used to let me order what ever I wanted. Guys for the
other shops used to come around and grab stuff that they couldn't order.
Sort of silly. I did have a fantastic Import section. Used to see folks
from all over the Bay Area up in San Rafael buying stuff. Met people
like Jud Cost, Scott McCaughey, and Roy Loney during those years. In the
end it nearly did me in, that's why my return address is now Montana.
You may or may not remember Odyssey? Not saying that's who I was talking
about.
just a well informed customer now. I like music a lot more too.
