I spent my first two years of college pretty much wanting to be Patty
Smyth. Voice-wise. OK, I admit it - hairdo and fashion-wise, too. There
was a song on that first EP called "Win Some, Lose Some" written by
(yikes!) Bryan Adams that I probably put on more mix tapes than
anything else in my collection. I'm not sure if I'd still like it
today, but I *did* already have an established "yikes!" reaction to
Bryan Adams at the time, so who knows? Maybe!
Also: Anna, your excuse for not making mix tapes for people is a very
bad one. Because based on that list of records, I'd *totally* love to
hear one!
