Sorta takes the more, uh, esoteric moments of "Smiley Smile"
to entirely new levels indeed  ;-)

...But wasn't this gem originally recorded for
(and promptly rejected by)
Warner Brothers back in the day?

If true,
than this is an odd turn of events indeed,
seeing as WB was quite "hep" at the time
(ie:  "It Crawled Into My Hand, Honest" by The Fugs, anyone?)
