Unfortunately the rest of the original band is going to suffer the
consequences of the actions of Jack Russell, who has been touring under
different variations of "Jack Russell's Great White" (which promoters
obviously and conveniently shorten for the ads). Perhaps the person buying
the section of records was going to burn them, but more likely Jason's
right - they'll pop up on eBay in some morbid fashion.

Rumors still abound from that evening and the pointing fingers of blame are
flying...I do know firsthand that in New York (and I believe every state),
pre-planned pyro displays are only authorized after an inspection, (usually)
a trial run through, and the arrangements for fire department personnel to
be on hand during the activity. If the club gave permission without making
these arrangements they're as guilty as the band (or band management) would
be if they did it on their own. I'm having a little trouble understanding
how the staff of the club did not know what was going to happen when they
provided the backline equipment...didn't they notice that these effects were
being assembled on stage?

The rumor I *really* hope is not true is that the band is moving right along
with the tour and having open auditions for a replacement guitarist. That
would be BEYOND sad and tasteless.
