son to come on stage to take the award, that was a wonderful moment.
In my rush to criticize nsync, I forgot to mention what a wonderfully moving
moment that was. It was pure class to call Maurice's son onstage, and the
cutaways to his Mom and sister were exactly appropriate and didn't veer into
exploitative.
On the subject of Sheryl Crow: She wore that perfectly lovely dress when she
gave her acceptance speech, but can someone explain to me that Space-Aged
Nancy Sinatra get-up she had during her "performance" with -- ugh -- Kid
Rock??
