My 2p. on the Grammies:

> 2. N'Sync -- y'know, the two lead vocals (one by Timberlake the other by
one of the other guys) weren't that bad, but geez, their harmonies made them

Coulda done without the "human beatbox" thing on "Stayin' Alive." And I
still can't help but think that Maurice was looking down from somewhere
saying, "SO that's how they screw you after you die."

> 3. I liked the "London Calling". Of all the vocalists, Bruce sounded the
least fitting -- he seems like he's pushing his voice way too much.

Was I alone in thinking that The Boss looked like hell last night? The whole
performance was smoking, and I appreciated Little Steven's lead work, but
E.C. was the shiner for me. He was the closest one to that generation, and
he proved he can still snarl with the best of them.

> 4. Faith Hill and Norah Jones parallel Goofus and Gallant, if you get my
drift.
The less said about Faith Hill, the better. Can't tell you how pleased I am
for Miz. Jones. Here's hoping that The Curse of The Best New Artist (similar
to the Sports Illustrated Curse) doesn't affect her now.

> 5. John Mayer? This guy couldn't win a coffee house songwriting contest.

Someone please silence the Mayer boy. He makes James Taylor seem like World
Heavyweight Champ.

> 6. I've grudgingly come to like No Doubt --
I can't help but bob my head a little whenver "Hella Good," comes on. A hook
is a hook is a hook.
