hey folks.. jumping in with a random mail as always.. my good friend Sam
Lewis, who lives here in L.A., is in a band called Feathergun. they're
currently a threepiece and are looking to add a fourth member to take on
lead guitar/backing vocals duty. Sam is a huge Jellyfish/Falkner/etc. fan,
and his music definitely reflects that, though it's a bit more rock than
pop. they put on quite an energetic and fun-filled live show.
anyway, Sam has asked me to pass along his "press release" in case any L.A.
Auditeers are looking to join the 'Gun. Sam and Co. live on the West side but
practice in the Valley.. all the guys are in their mid-late 20s.

Los Angeles based melodic pop/rock band Feathergun in search of a lead
guitarist with backup vocal abilities. Preferably someone who is 21-30
years old, loves good melodies and has pro gear!! Are you into Foo
Fighters, Weezer, Cheap Trick, Beatles, Skycycle, Lenny Kravitz? If you
are
into rock with tasteful hooks and have both a sense of humor and good
stage
presence, then this is the band for you. We are currently a trio,
guitar/singer, bassist and drummer. Must be willing and able to rehearse

times per week, available for shows (possible summer tour) and able to
contribute to the band financially and otherwise positively. Experience
and
dedication a must!!!
We have been playing regularly and building a following, with many songs -
shows are readily available! We have a killer rehearsal studio in Van
Nuys,
several recording studios and some key industry contacts. In addition, we
have a debut CD complete and being released in March 2003 on Soundwidth
Records. We have show offers and would like to add the right person to
our
lineup ASAP.
