These are my faves, just off the top of my head - Numbers 2 & 4 aren't powerpop...
but they are beautiful songs.
1. Wondermints - Another Way
2. Joe Pisapia - River Song
3. Arlo - Runaway
4. Peter Bruntnell - City Star (just picked up his latest 'Ends of the Earth'
album, has a 2002 date on it, but isn't out back here in the UK for a month or
so yet.. I think? Pretty, mellow alt. country - can I still use that term? - lovely
songs, great feel, fantastic vocal phrasing - Shit I hope the new Jayhawks record
is this good!)
