Just heard what I assume will be the first single off the upcoming Bangles
album called Something That You Said. I feel pretty confident that many on
the list will dismiss it as commercial dross (if you didn't like Eternal
Flame, I doubt you'll like this), but, for my money, these ladies come up
with hooks as gorgeous as anyone out there. Susanna Hoff's voice sounds as
strong as ever to me and the lush harmonies are awe-inspiring to these ears.
To each their own...I love it. If the whole cd is this caliber, it will be
top 2 or 3 of the year for me, I predict.
