hahahaaaaaa......
when I was a publicist working with a mullet-haired
canadian rock band in the mid-80s, we did a long German/British tour
with the Quo (pronouced Staytus Quo).... very nice guys, I thought....
their Euro fans are DEVOTED!!!
I learned a lot actually just watching them deal with non-English
crowds and how they approached their stage craft....
Anyway... it was all VERY interesting... no real stories... they basically
went from last encore straight onto the waiting tour bus and away
down the highway....
interesting British food also since they were carrying British caterers...
but hey... I got to hang out at Wembley Stadium so that was cool....
the keyboardist was Alan Bown of the Alan Bown Set.... cool!
