For what it's worth, they did begin the show with a disclaimer saying something like "because of current events, viewer discretion is advised."

I hadn't seen a news broadcast all weekend, and had no idea that the "current event" was people burning up.  At the time, I thought the disclaimer just applied to terrorism-type events (in this case, the detonation of a neutron-bomb-type weapon by a secret organization).
