I'm going to have to pull out both Mustard and Boulders and give them a listen with new ears. At the time it didn't sound like the Move to me so I just filed them away. Actually I like Wizzard's
Brew alot. I got a promo reissue last time I was in London. I had it out on the hi-fi recently and spun it quite a few times. Going Down To Memphis is just one of my faves. Madness, especially
where he runs out of words and just sings nonsense syllables.
I was very much into the Wizzard singles and the RW solo singles. It fit in right next to T-Rex, Slade, and the rest. I was on the radio in the Bay Area at the time and managed to get a lot of this
stuff on the play lists. No one understood what I was going on about with Roxy Music. It took till at least For Your Pleasure before anyone else warmed up to them.
I played Why Does A Pretty Girl Sing Those Sad Songs on my radio show yesterday.
