i just find the whole thing charmless. i think paul's voice has lost a lot of the suppleness it once had, and it's hard for me to listen to him straining his way through so many
great songs. i also have a hard time getting past his live band, which sounds like a run-of-the-mill bar band doing beatles covers, with really cheesy harmonies to boot. they've
got no live energy, at least nothing that comes across on these discs, and no imagination.
and an extra "ugh" for his zippy little version of "something."
