I'm going to go right down the middle between Mike Bennett's tepid
warmth for the new Buzzcocks and Michael Coxe's unbridled enthusiasm.
I agree with Mike that this is the band's most ferocious album yey. But
I think he has the bar set a bit too high in terms of killer hooks,
because I think that there are plenty here. In terms of comback albums I
put it on par with Modern, better than All Set, and not up there with
Trade test Transmission, which I think stand as one of the band's best
overall albums period.
There are enough strong songs to offset the ones that just sit there.
