I don't necessarily agree. Not that I discount the
work
of the two fine gentlemen you mention here, Uncle
Bruce, but I've heard many a band, take The Posies for
example, who had masters caught in the label vault
that
were later re-recorded to less of an effect. If you
feel good about the masters then stand behind them. I
don't agree with Will lamenting what has happened.
We've all heard or been a part of too many bad record
label stories. Doesn't make it less sad but at some
point you have take responsibility for walking into a
deal with both eyes open. Especially for a guy who's
been through the label ringer before.
