Hi all,

In the flurry of alternate top 5s and other dust-ups, it seems that the
Top 5 Power pop cuts of 2002 has lost its impetus. I'd still like to know
what cuts made your personal hit list last year. The proposed deadline is
February 28th. I've been plowing through some recent purchases myself, and
am still putting my list together, though Doug Powell's "I Woke Up In Love
This Morning" has a lock on the #1 slot on my personal list.

np: Animal Farm-s/t This is amazing. This was a Scandinavian
recommendation on Geir's web site. Imagine the quality of "Last Plane Out"
by Toy Matinee sustained throughout a whole CD. At times this channels
alternately Leonard Cohen, The Beatles and Johnny Cash. SOTT members will
get a taste of this one on my disc, for sure.

Thanks to all for the input on The Kooks and the Beat Angels. The jury is
still out on the All-American Rejects, though I will heed recommendations to
revisit it as it could very well be a "grower".
