Exactly!!
The amount of money spent to make major label cds is close to criminal. I
wouldn't know what to do with even a $5000 recording budget. Well, I guess I
do - I'd buy several guitars and then record it at home. If someone is
hell-bent on recording and releasing their "art" there are lots of
approaches. If you can't make a decent record for less than 5 figures you
should just give up.
