Wait -- a Macintosh CRASHED?  Why, the commercials say that they never do!  Shouldn't someone alert the authorities?  Why, no one will believe this story if it involves a Mac crashing!

p.s.: seriously, sorry about the crashes.  Few problems that don't involve illness or fatality are as aggravating as a hard disc failure.  Hope everything got restored just fine.
