Ha...funny you should mention that. Just last night I was at the computer
when the TV was on and this ad came on that I'd heard a few times before. I
think it was a car ad, but I was really paying more attention to the music
and lyrics. I punched in a few phrases into Google and found it was "Toxic
Girl" by Kings of Convenience. I've heard the name several times but this
was the first time consciously connecting it with the music. Added to the
top of my list of CDs to buy.

Here's another example. Purchased the Vanilla Sky soundtrack several months
back. I found I really liked the track by Josh Rouse as it reminded me a bit
of James Iha's solo album (guitarist for Smashing Pumpkins). But I wasn't
sure if Josh Rouse was a one-trick pony, so I downloaded a few tracks and
everything sounded great, so there's another artist I will be buying.
