I'm on digest, so it's possible that Desiree may have posted this already,
but I am very sad to report that guitarist/ranconteur/former Auditeer Rick
McBrien of Cleveland pop band Paranoid Lovesick died suddenly and very
unexpectedly this morning. Cause of death has yet to be determined.
For those who don't know, Paranoid Lovesick were a great mid '90s band who
ruled Cleveland at that time. We opened for them several times and
considered them our sister band. They made one CD called MOLLY and have a
couple of further CDs that were never released. They are good friends of
ours and Rick was a hell of a guy -- funny, laidback, irreverent, highly
intelligent. He leaves behind a wife and a three-month-old daughter. It is
just incredibly sad.

There's talk of donations being taken for the upkeep of a local memorial
