We may have already discussed this recently, Chicago, prior to the BIG
BALLAD-era stuff is WAY underrated it my opinion. Peter Cetera's bass
stylings, if you listen closely, are up there with Macca no question.
Amazing drummming, vocal harmony and songs...they had it all, but the horns
used as a dominant element in the arrangements which are the epitome of
tasteful, made Chicago a highlight for me and utterly unique in the whole
"rock" genre....my parents USED to have cool taste--I stole most of their
lps...:)
